The Terminator turbocharger , made especially for smaller engine applications, are for the ultimate in 4 cylinder Top-end power drag racing purposes only, with little street use, Or for 6-8 cylinder applications for Circuit and street use, and can be used as a single or twin configurations together to make in upwards of 1500hp. This is the next step above our ever-popular Reaper in the GT35R to GT40R Garrett larger-framed T3 and entry-level T4 footprints. At approximately 91lbs/min, The Terminator gives 1.8-2.4 litre 4-cylinder and 2.5-3.7 litre 6-cylinder engine applications the ability to get top-end peak power. For larger displacement engines over 4.0 Litres, a more broad power-band would range from the 3000-7000 rpm range, due to its enhanced compressor wheel profile, and well-matched turbine exhaust wheel and ported turbine housing in a T31 and T4 footprint.
With its T6 -7075 forged aluminum composition, The Terminator has unsurpassed durability to prevent compressor wheel flex that is a typical issue with other "billet" aluminum wheels that are of a lower strength composition. As with all of the STC Forged aluminum series, this turbo gives the reliability, repeatability, and rebuildability that is expected from Genuine Garrett Products.
This unit has a standard Journal Bearing T31 2.5" turbine housing configuration, which can easily replace the standard T3/T4 Garrett-based turbocharger, and is available in T3 or T4 3" V-band configuration. ( Currently, T3 V-band is only available using our 2.5" 4-bolt to 3" v-band conversion flange )
The use of 3/8th NPT water fittings for the Journal Bearing version is optional, but highly recommended for those using this turbocharger for "daily driving" duties in which oil temperatures and pressures are put to the test.
The Ball-bearing version is optional for an additional charge, and requires the use of a restrictor (.045"-.065") (due to larger shaft) and water fittings. *
This particular turbocharger is designed best for engine applications that generally plan to run efficiency ranges from 15psi-40psi that plan to run from 500hp-800hp in the standard T04S compressor cover, (Ported Shroud T04R cover is an option for an additional charge) and only comes in a larger T3 .82A/R Turbine housing with 74mm exhaust wheel for optimal performance. T4 open turbine options include .68 A/R, .81 A/R, and .91 A/R in a 3 inch v-band downpipe flange. T4 Divided housing inlet options are .84A/R, 1.00 A/R and 1.15 A/R in the 4" V-band downpipe flange.

All Journal Bearing turbos that are oil/water cooled use optional water-cooling ports. These are not required for the turbocharger to work but is highly recommended.
Important Sizes and information to note:
For oil / water-cooled Journal Bearing Terminator turbochargers
Water Ports = 3/8NPT
Oil feed fitting size 1/8NPT
Recommended Restictor = .100" for oil pressures over 75-80psi oil pressure (typically that means no oil restrictor is needed for gasoline automotive applications
For Oil cooled only Journal Bearing Terminator turbochargers
Oil feed fitting size 1/4NPT
Recommended Restictor =.080 - .100" for oil pressures over 75-80psi oil pressure (typically that means no oil restrictor is needed for gasoline automotive applications
For Ball-Bearing Bearing Terminator Turbocharger
All Ball-bearing turbos use required water ports in order to function properly, and share the same oil feed and fitting size as the Garrett GT and GTX series
Water Ports = 14mm
Oil Feed Fitting size = 7/16
Recommended restrictor = .045" to .065" for oil pressure over 75psi
