STC's solution to the ultimate Street/Circuit turbocharger for 1.8 – 2.5 litre four-cylinder & six-cylinder engine class that was based off of the world-renowned WRC class TR30R used on the Sierra Cosworth ,Ford Focus, and Subaru GC Rally platforms over the last 15 years. The TR3030R has all the midrange torque and response of the GTX3071R with higher boost pressure capability and a better compressor wheel / turbine wheel efficiency ratio than the GTX3076R, all in a genuine Garrett Ballistic Ball-Bearing cartridge with our signature T6 7075 forged aluminum wheel and at an affordable price.
The TR3030R starts off with the Garrett GT3076R turbocharger cartridge (the TR30R and the GT30R utilize the same size turbine wheel, just with a different material make-up.) . We then use our signature T6 – 7075 Forged aluminum billet wheel designed and sized more appropriately for better midrange and top end than the GTX3071R , but without the compressor wheel mismatch that the GTX3076R exhibits for better top end.
In addition, we add our special internal velocity stack specifically designed for the TR3030R using the OEM GT3076R compressor cover. This assists with smoother transition of inlet air for extremely high rotational speeds associated with the characteristics of this turbo.

All Ball-bearing turbos use required water ports in order to function properly, and share the same oil feed and fitting size as the Garrett GT and GTX series

Recommended restrictor = .030" for oil pressures over 75-90psi
For this ball-bearing turbocharger, return flange is for the GT and GTX Series turbos
All turbine housings that fit the GT3076R, GTX3071R, GTX3076R, and GT3071R w/ the 60mm turbine wheel will fit this cartridge
